Operating Systems

Mountains® products in version 6.x are compatible with the following operating systems:

• Windows® 7 (32-bit & 64-bit)
• Windows® Vista (32-bit & 64-bit)
• Windows® XP (32-bit only)

Mountains® products in version 5.x are compatible with the following operating systems:

• Windows® 7 (see note 1)
• Windows® Vista
• Windows® XP
• Windows® 2000

Note 1: Compatibility with Windows 7 is provided only from version 5.1.1. Versions prior to v5.1.0 (including v4, v3...) are not compatible with Windows 7.
Note 2: MountainsMap® may be used on Mac OS X using an emulator such as Parallels Desktop® or VMware Fusion®.

PC Hardware specifications

Minimum specification:

• 1 GB RAM
• 250 MB Disk space
• OpenGL accelerated graphics board
• Resolution of 1024x768 in 65000 colors
• USB port

For confortable 3D analysis, we recommend:

• Windows XP or Seven
• 4 GB RAM
• Multicore processor
• Resolution of 1280x1024 in 32-bit colors

Language specifications

ok: available
* : available until version 5 only, English instead from version 6
---: help available in English instead.

Note 1: Brazilian Portuguese language is available from version 6.1

Note 2: Korean language is available from version 5.1
