Mountains® is a universal solution for surface analysis. It is used to visualize and analyze surfaces on any scale accurately and quickly. It is used in many different sectors including aerospace, automotive, cosmetics, electronics (semiconductor, MEMS, PCB), energy, metallurgy, paper, plastics, printing, etc.

Continuous evolution

Developed by a multi-disciplinary team of professional metrologists, software engineers and technical specialists, Mountains® is subject to continuous evolution in consultation with instrument manufacturers and internationally reputed laboratories. Digital Surf also participates on international and national committees responsible for defining surface analysis standards.

Integrating the latest standards, methods and innovations

The software integrates latest standards, for example the new ISO 25178 standard on 3D areal surface texture and the ISO/TS 16610 standard on advanced filtering techniques. It includes the latest methods, for example sub-surface analysis based on segmentation, and the latest innovations developed by Digital Surf, for example the 4D analysis of surface evolution.
